High-G driving exposes one of the N55 engine’s biggest weaknesses: oil starvation under sustained cornering, braking, and lateral load. The Norris Manufacturing N55 Oil Pan Baffle is designed to eliminate that risk.

This baffle system keeps oil constantly pooled around the oil pickup, even under extreme lateral and longitudinal forces. Strategically placed one-way oil control doors allow oil to enter the pickup area freely while preventing it from escaping during hard cornering, braking, or transitions, exactly when the engine needs it most.
